I joined Sisters At Shore on whim it was a sudden desire and change of mind, especially since it was meeting at the shore to pray with other women that is unusual for many reasons once I i stood silent and let the air speak to me I knew I was in the right place. I joined for my own soul and and my tribal family Schaghticoke First Nation and my heritage of ancestors who are in the heavens my roots are deep Gullah Geechee, African American and Irish and Native American Indians. I needed too be grounded in a faith that was spiritual but not religious and Sisters at the Shore has bought me peace and friendship with sisters of every single race and ethnicity.
Water is life I am life. Water makes life as we know it possible. Every drop cycles continuously through air, land, and sea, to be used by someone (or something) else "downstream." Water covers 70% of Earth's surface. By using water more wisely, we can make sure there's enough to share with all living things, My spirit is always with Sisters at the Shore and I pray that one day this movement will be around the world.

Together…. One prayer at a time.. Change will come

I feel so blessed to be a part of group of ladies, seeking the common goal of praying for a better today and even better tomorrow for our nation. I’ve learned to listen to god through the silence of prayer instead of getting in my own way with my own self destructive thoughts. Meeting at the shore gives me peace within. Since attending the shore, I now feel I found my purpose. I am here to be God’s Servant… I am here to “Just Be”… God will lead me to my next assignment..to every assignment is there is preparation… being at the shore was my first step… now I am ready for the next step 💦💙

Snowbird

I joined Sisters At Shore for many reasons; one reason is for myself and my tribal family Schaghticoke First Nation also for my daughters and granddaughters and most importantly for clarity and grounding. When I feel my water a few things come to my life birth and death all three of those moments we need water . we need water for our bodies for cleansing and we need water to bring forth new life and even when we journey over are bodies are washed for we process of presentation . water is life I am life.

TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY - A'HO

I WAS INVITED TO THE SHORE EARLY IN ITS CONCEPTION AND CANT STAY AWAY - I AM TRULY AT PEACE BY THE WATER, ALWAYS HAVE BEEN, BUT ADDING PRAYER AND SISTERHOOD TO THE EQUATION MAKES IT MORE FULFILLING. I GO TO CHURCH, [NOT AS OFTEN AS I SHOULD] BUT COVID CHANGED ALL THAT! I AM STILL A MEMBER OF C.O.P. - ARCH BISHOP J.C.WHITE, BUT, THIS FEELS RIGHT TO ME. I AM AT MY BEST ON THIS SUNDAY MORNING JOURNEY, THE SUN SHINES AND GLISTENS ON THE WATER, WATCHING THE SEAGULLS CIRCLE ABOVE US, WATER IS CALMING EVEN IN THE MIDIST OF THE WIND AND WAVES. PEACE IS WITH US SISTERS [AND THE BONDS THAT ARE BEING CREATED] AT THE SHORE AS WE PRAY IN SILENCE FOR THE WORLD. I PRAY THAT AS YOU ARE READING THIS IT TOUCHES YOU IN A WAY TO GET YOU TO TRY IT ONE GOOD SUNDAY - YOU WILL BE HOOKED AS I AM. PEACE LOVE AND HAPPINESS TO YOU ALL. A'HO/AMEN ONE GOD - ONE LOVE

When the Prayers Go Up, The Blessings Come Down

At the shore taking in the long breaths, meditating and thankful for all of God's Blessings and Grace. In awe of his wondrous shore, birds flying in sync with each other; as the waves hit the rocks or when the water is low and still. Whether it be clouds, rain, snow, sun or winds. Our circle of sisters united with the desire to share love, admiration, encouragement, charity and prayers with one another and others.

The Spirituality of Water

The quietness of the morning of silent reflection near the water that’s gleaming with the diamonds of the sun connecting a sister circle of spirituality and connectedness ! It was a pleasure to join the circle of Sisters at the Shore with the spirit of our ancestral Sisters blessing us quietly !

Believe What You Can't See

Praying by the water is very peaceful and calming experience. It clears my mind allowing me to focus and listen to the spiritual energy surrounding me.
The feeling of unity, love and kindness from SATS is very uplifting; to know that we’re not alone in our seasons. We can pray, cry, laugh, and lean on each other. Together were stronger and we can make a difference. Matthew 18:20 - For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Peace

My first meet up at the shore was so peaceful...bundled up surrounded by others but in my own space at the same time. Everyone was so kind & welcoming...I am certain we are all stronger together especially when wrapped in God's arms. I will be back again soon!!
